(York) -- Three police officers killed in the line of duty in York County will be remembered in a ceremony today.

The Prospect Hill Cemetery in York will host the ceremony at 1:00 p.m.

It's part of Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Day.

Three officers will be remembered:

Curtis Sowers of the North York Borough Police Department was killed in 1929.

Dean Zeigler of the Pennsylvania Motor Police died in 1942.

Henry Schaad of the York City Police Department was killed during the city's Race Riots in 1969.

The ceremony is also meant to honor all those who are currently serving as law enforcement officers.

York City Mayor Kim Bracey is scheduled to offer remarks as well.
