(Charleston, W.Va.) -- West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is seeking to block a Berks County-based pharmacy from doing business in his state.

Morrisey says he has filed a lawsuit against CURERX LLC, also known as Cure Pharmacy of Wyomissing.

Also listed as a defendant is company manager Chris Rothe of Draper, Utah.

Morrisey says the company used personal information from patients to transfer prescriptions to its pharmacy without their consent.

The lawsuit was filed Friday in Raleigh County Circuit Court.

Rothe didn't immediately return a telephone message left with Cure Pharmacy on Monday.

Morrisey filed similar lawsuits in November against Utah-based pharmacies Rock City Pharmacy LLC and David Pharmacy LLC.
