(Lancaster) -- Authorities say the bodies of two people have been found in the Susquehanna River.

The first body was recovered Wednesday from a debris pit at the Safe Harbor Dam on the Susquehanna River in Manor Township.

Crews were later called to an area of Turkey Point north of the dam at about 5:30 p.m. yesterday after the discovery of a second body.

The Lancaster County coroner's office was called to the scene.

A Lancaster man was believed to have jumped into the river from the Route 30 bridge between Columbia and Wrightsville on January 14, and his body was never recovered.
