(Philadelphia) -- The five men seeking to become Pennsylvania's next attorney general are saying the pornographic email scandal that has roiled the agency has been mishandled and proposing how they'd restore office morale and revamp its operations.

The three Democrats and two Republicans running in the April 26 primary spent about 90 minutes Tuesday fielding questions during a forum sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association.

They're all supporters of the death penalty but offered different views about whether the attorney general should defend a law if they personally believe it isn't constitutional.

The forum's main focus was Attorney General Kathleen Kane, a Democrat who recently announced she isn't seeking a second term. She's fighting criminal allegations she leaked secret grand jury material and lied about it.
