(Philadelphia) -- A storm system bearing down on the region could cause flooding in parts of central and eastern Pennsylvania while the northeastern part of the state faces a winter weather advisory.

The National Weather Service says moderate to heavy rain is expected late tomorrow and into the night that could cause localized flooding, especially in areas of poor drainage in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Central Pennsylvania could see some slick spots on roads today and heavy rains tomorrow, with the chance for some flooding. Some light rain, snow and sleet are possible this morning, followed by rain throughout the afternoon. The rain will stick around through tomorrow.

Northeastern Pennsylvania could see one to two inches of snow and sleet today that could cause travel delays.
