(Ephrata) -- A Lancaster County woman is facing driving under the influence and child endangerment charges after police say she crashed her vehicle while holding a baby.

Police say Erika Rizzon of Ephrata struck a curb at the intersection just after 10:00 p.m. Saturday in Ephrata.

Witnesses told police the 32-year-old was holding a baby on her lap at the time of the crash.

Ephrata police Sergeant Philip Snavely says the eight-month-old child was checked for injuries then released to a family member.

Rizzon has been arraigned and released on $3,000 unsecured bail.

Online court documents don't list an attorney for her.
