(Medford, N.Y.) -- A Pennsylvania motorist whose license has been suspended more than 80 times was arrested after being stopped for speeding in New York.

Police on Long Island say Eric Dunbar of Tafton, Pike County, had a valid Pennsylvania license after highway patrol pulled over the 43-year-old's late-model Dodge Sunday afternoon.

But they say he also had a New York state driver's license that had been suspended 88 times for ignoring traffic tickets.

Dunbar was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

He was issued summonses for speeding and keeping more than one license.

His car was impounded.

Dunbar was in custody Sunday and didn't return a message.

He was to be arraigned later today.

It wasn't clear if he had an attorney who could comment on the charges.
