Fatal shooting over eviction in Perry County

(Duncannon) -- State police say gunfire at an attempted eviction in central Pennsylvania has killed one person and wounded another.

Trooper Robert Hicks said an altercation began just after 10:00 a.m. today during the eviction attempt in Perry County's Penn Township.

He said shots were fired and left one person dead.

Another person who was wounded was flown to a hospital where his condition wasn't immediately available.

Hicks said all parties have been identified and there was no danger to the public.
