After Jackson shot at him, Anderson leaned to his left and rolled to the ground, police said. The officer stood up and fired six shots toward Jackson, who was back inside his car, according to an arrest warrant. The officer's responding shots are not shown in the video released Wednesday. Jackson fled the scene.

At a press conference midday Wednesday, Northern York County Regional Police Department Chief Mark Bentzel said the video's release was done in an effort to "re-energize" the public in the search for Jackson, who is still at large.

"This was just a very, very close, dangerous encounter for the police officer," Bentzel said.

Police said last week they believed Jackson, of the 100 block of East College Avenue in York, was injured in the incident after they found blood in his car.

Jackson has been charged with criminal attempt of homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment of another person.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at (717) 292-3647, call 911 or use the crime tip page on the Northern Regional website.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for help finding Jackson. Anyone with information can call the crime stoppers at 1-800-472-8477.
