(Fort Indiantown Gap) -- A military training base in the midstate is holding live-fire exercises today and tomorrow.

Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County says the artillery life-fire will run from six until 11 Friday night, and between eight and three tomorrow.

It says the training will bring more noise to the neighboring area.

The Pennsylvania National Guard announced the exercises ahead of time to give residents a heads up.

Fort Indiantown Gap is the only live-fire maneuver military training facility in the state.
