(West Donegal Township) -- The historic Star Barn may finally be on the move.

After years of discussion, West Donegal Township is siging off on the first step of a company's plan to shift the structure to Lancaster County.

For the barn to move, township supervisors now need to okay land development and building code regulations.

The Star Barn is currently located along Route 283 in Middletown, Dauphin County, but the midstate firm DAS Companies wants to move it to Elizabethtown.

The building is designated as a national historic place and dates to the 1870's.
