(Harrisburg) -- Three more of Democratic Governor Tom Wolf's Cabinet members have the Pennsylvania Senate's blessing.

The Republican-controlled Senate today confirmed Environmental Protection Secretary John Quigley, Education Secretary Pedro Rivera and Insurance Commissioner Teresa Miller.

Votes for Miller and Rivera were unanimous, while Quigley was approved 44-4.

Rivera was the Lancaster city schools superintendent and spent more than a decade as a teacher and principal in the school system in Philadelphia, where he grew up.

Miller was the administrator of Oregon's Insurance Division and worked at the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services where she helped write regulations for President Barack Obama's 2010 health care law.

Quigley, a former mayor of Hazleton, was conservation secretary under former Gov. Ed Rendell.

That makes 16 confirmations. Four others await confirmation votes.
