(Harrisburg) -- The Pennsylvania Senate has given its approval to five more of Governor Tom Wolf's cabinet members.

The Republican-controlled chamber approved Drug and Alcohol Programs Secretary Gary Tennis, Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding, Labor and Industry Secretary Katherine Manderino, Health Secretary Karen Murphy, and Aging Secretary Teresa Osborne.

That makes nine total confirmations, with 11 others awaiting confirmation votes or hearings.

No confirmation hearing is scheduled in the Senate Law and Justice Committee for acting State Police Commissioner Marcus Brown.

Senate Republicans say they don't believe Brown has enough votes to win confirmation.
