(Harrisburg) -- The state Board of Education is set to consider whether to allow a York County township to transfer from one school district to another.

A group calling itself the Washington Township Education Coalition says Dover Area School District neglected to keep an elementary school in good working order before closing it.

It's pushing for a move to the Northern York County School District.

But another group wants students to stay in the district, saying Dover could be left in financial chaos.
