(Fort Indiantown Gap) -- Loud booms can be expected around Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County as an artillery live-fire exercise starts this morning at 8:00.

155 millimeter rounds will be fired during the Pennsylvania National Guard training, which could run as late as 11:00 p.m. tonight.

The gap is the state's only live-fire, manuever military training facility.

It announces some exercises ahead of the time as a courtesy to nearby residents.
