(Bethlehem) -- Governor Tom Wolf is planning to announce proposals for economic development and tax reform.

Details are being kept under wraps, but the Democrat today is expected to address a group of Lehigh Valley business leaders at an event in Bethlehem.

The invitation-only event is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation.

The speech will mark the second day in a row that Wolf will have addressed a business gathering.

On Tuesday, at a Harrisburg conference sponsored by the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, he emphasized the need for more public school funding.

He's working on a state budget plan that's expected to call for higher taxes.

Wolf is a former business owner who's arguing he understands how government can affect businesses.
