Pa. part of six-state distracted driving enforcement effort

(Lansing, Mich.) -- Law enforcement agencies in six states, including Pennsylvania plan participate in a week-long campaign targeting distracted driving. 

Troopers from the commonwealth, Indiana, Kentucky,Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia are joining the effort.

The stepped-up enforcement is scheduled to begin Sunday and run through July 26.

Troopers also will be on the lookout for seat belt use and speeding as well as aggressive and impaired driving.
