(York) -- A Baltimore city police officer has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a York County apartment complex.
Police said officers responding to the York Apartments around 12:30 p.m. today found a man who had been shot multiple times in the abdomen and arm while sitting in his vehicle.
York Area Regional Police Sgt. Jeff Dunbar said the Baltimore officer is in custody and cooperating with authorities. Dunbar said the officer was among those who called 911 and waited for police to arrive.
Investigators declined to comment on details of the shooting or a possible motive.
The victim was conscious and talking to authorities before being taken to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the officer and the victim weren't immediately released.

Baltimore police spokesman Jeremy Silbert told the York Daily Record that one of their officers was involved in an incident today in the York area but wouldn't comment further.
