(Carlisle) -- Police say a Cumberland County man used three different knives to kill his elderly mother after the two argued about his drinking.

Court documents provide new information on Tuesday's slaying of
85-year-old Mary Tolbert in her Carlisle home.

Authorities allege Paul Tolbert stabbed his mother to death and stole her money to buy crack cocaine.

He is charged with criminal homicide, robbery and tampering with evidence for allegedly trying to clean up the crime scene.

Investigators say Tolbert and his mother's roommate moved the body into the bedroom and began cleaning the living room.

The roommate, Alison Gail Green, is charged with receiving stolen property, abuse of a corpse, evidence tampering and drug charges.
