(Harrisburg) -- Harrisburg Mayor-elect Eric Papenfuse has named the top advisers on his transition team.

The Democrat named two co-chairs of his transition team. One is Karl Singleton, an educator and community activist, and Joyce M. Davis, who has served as the main spokeswoman for Papenfuse's campaign.

Papenfuse, who was elected with about 50% of the vote in this month's election, also says he'll bring in Robert Melville, a professional adviser ager for governments who'll serve as a consultant to the transition team.

Papenfuse, who owns the Harrisburg bookstore Midtown Scholar, will take office in January.
