(Harrisburg) -- Flags at the state Capitol Complex will be lowered to half-staff, Wednesday, in honor of US Army Sergeant Patrick Hawkins of Carlisle.

The 25 year-old Army Ranger was killed while aiding a wounded soldier during an enemy attack in Afghanistan on October sixth.

Hawkins will be buried Wednesday in Arlington National Cemetery.

He was assigned to the Third Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Benning, Georgia.
