(Harrisburg) -- A central Pennsylvania construction worker was flown to a hospital after a piece of construction equipment fell on him.

Susquehanna Township firefighters say the man was working at a bridge construction project in Dauphin County yesterday morning when a 36,000 pound trackhoe excavator overturned into a ditch.

Township Fire Marshal George Drees says the man's legs were pinned by the machinery and the excavation materials.

It took rescue crews about 20 minutes to dig him out.

He was taken to the hospital, but there is no word on his condition. His name was not released.
