(Harrisburg) -- A federal grand jury has indicted a York County man on charges he impersonated an FBI agent.

The U.S. attorney's office in Harrisburg says 40-year-old Brandon Schnetzka of York is facing a charge of impersonating an officer or employee of the United States.

Authorities allege in March, he falsely represented himself as an FBI agent in connection with obtaining a loaner car from a Mechanicsburg auto dealer.

The maximum penalty under the federal statute is three years in prison and a fine.
