(Lititz) -- For the second time in recent months, police in Lancaster County say they are searching for the person responsible for shooting a cat with an arrow.

The black-and-white cat was found near Lititz.

She underwent emergency surgery today and is expected to be fine.

Lancaster County SPCA director Susan Martin says the arrow entered the cat's left breast under the shoulder and exited near the rump.  No major arteries were hit.

Martin says she believes the cat is someone's pet because she's calm in and good condition.

If an owner doesn't step forward, she'll be put up for adoption.
In December, a cat was shot in the head with an arrow outside in Bainbridge.  It underwent surgery and survived.
