(Baltimore) -- Interstate 83 has reopened in northern Baltimore County after a crash involving multiple vehicles and a tractor-trailer.

Maryland State Police say 10 vehicles collided about 6:00 a.m. this morning. The accident involved a tractor-trailer carrying flour that overturned.

Three people were transported to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

The interstate was fully reopened by 10:00 a.m. Traffic cameras had shown traffic was backed up all the way across the Mason-Dixon line into York County.

Police were urging drivers to find an alternate route.
