(Gettysburg) -- A man who became stuck while climbing in the rocks at Devil's Den in the Gettysburg battlefield park is recovering from injuries after it took crews about an hour to pull him to safety.

The unidentified man in his 20s suffered a dislocated shoulder and couldn't climb out of a crevice in the rocks on Monday.

A local fire official says it's not uncommon for people to get stuck there.

Devil's Den and nearby Little Round Top saw heavy action during the 1863 battle that turned the tide of the American Civil War.
