(Harrisburg) -- Police are charging a York County man with killing a seven-month-old boy who's been missing for more than three weeks.

Upper Darby Police Chief Michael Chitwood says detectives again sought the location of Hamza Ali's body from the defendant Ummad Rushdi.

Chitwood says Rushdi told a detective that Hamza's body ``can't be retrieved.''

Rushdi had recently become the boyfriend of Hamza's mother, and they lived in the York suburbs.

Rushdi's lawyer, Mike Malloy, says he wasn't aware of the new charges, and is declining comment. Ummad had previously been jailed on kidnapping and other charges.

Along with homicide, police have also filed charges of kidnapping to facilitate a felony and inflict injury or terror, concealment of a child's whereabouts, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
