(Harrisburg) -- Pennsylvania's unemployment rate remains at 7.5 percent, the same level it's been since May.

The state Labor and Industry Department says Pennsylvania added 4,000 private-sector jobs in July but total employment dipped slightly.

The statewide jobless rate is slightly above the national level of 7.4 percent for July.

Jobs and joblessness are emerging as a major issue for Governor Corbett as he heads into a re-election campaign next year.
