(Palmyra) -- A Lebanon County doctor is headed to trial on charges of indecent assault lodged by three female patients.

A judge has found enough evidence against 59-year-old Doctor Samuel Rashid to send the case to county court. He was ordered to have no contact with the three women or the more than 30 other women who have come forward since initial charges were filed on July 9th.

Three former patients testified preliminary hearing, including a young woman who said she was 12 or 13 years old when Rashid inappropriately touched her during an examination for a possible ear infection in 2008.

Rashid's attorney says his client vehemently denies the allegations.

The doctor has taken a leave of absence from Lebanon Valley Family Medicine
