(Wrightsville) -- A fire that destroyed a maintenance building in central Pennsylvania remains under investigation.

There were no serious injuries in the Thursday morning blaze at the Lower Windsor Township Highway Department building.

Officials say the fire destroyed the building and most of the township's heavy trucks, backhoe and mowers parked inside.

Township Manager Maureen Hartman says it wrecked most of the township's vehicles.

Two municipal trucks parked at the edge of the property were spared.

Officials say one firefighter had to be taken to a hospital, possibly due to heat exhaustion.
