Amber Alet canceled after two Berks County girls found safe

(West Reading) -- State police in Pennsylvania say an Amber Alert has been canceled for two young girls who had reportedly been taken from their Berks County home.

Police say six-year-old Dania Perez and eight-year-old Janeth Perez had been found safe and a suspect was in custody.

Police report the girls were taken from a West Reading home at about 9:00 p.m. Thursday.

Officials did not provide immediate information about where they were found or the circumstances of the arrest.
