Woman arrested in suspicious Harrisburg fires

(Harrisburg) -- An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with two fires two suspicious fires in vacant row homes in Harrisburg that displaced 18 people.

Police say 18-year-old Alexis Poteet has been charged and a second woman is being questioned. 

The first blaze broke out around 12:30 a.m. Monday and that the second was reported a half hour later

Both fires were ruled as arson.

While the fires started in vacant homes, about 18 people living nearby were displaced. The American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley was assisting 13 adults and five children affected by the fires.
