(Chester) -- A Pennsylvania Turnpike plaza in eastern Pennsylvania has been closed because mold was detected after leaks in the roof were found.

The Peter J. Camiel Service Plaza is located off the turnpike's westbound lanes at mile marker 305, just inside the Chester County line. It's not clear how long the plaza will be closed.

A Sunoco gas station and attached convenience store at the same plaza remains open. But a food and gift area housing Roy Rogers and Sbarro restaurants and a Starbucks coffee outlet is closed, along with public restroom facilities. Turnpike officials planned to move portable toilets onto the plaza later today.

The plaza was scheduled for renovations in October. It was not immediately clear if that will be delayed by the leaks and mold.
