Heavy rains are expected across the midstate, which is under a Flood Watch until this evening.

Forecasters are bracing for a derecho formation, which is a line of strong showers and storms that brings with it widespread, damaging winds.

There are scattered reports of outages across the midstate, but no massive outages as of this point. More storms are expected to develop later today, so here is information about how to contact your power company and links to outage maps. Jot these numbers down in case you lose power.
