MoneyWorks: Economic demand driving education options

(Harrisburg) -- Course offerings at some midstate universities could be a sign of an economy on the mend.

The Dixon University Center in Harrisburg is starting some new courses it feels fill an increasing demand for professional, high-skill programs.

The center is a consortium that offers classes from nine colleges and universities.

As part of our MoneyWorks series, witf's Craig Layne talks with Lorelee Isbell, Dixon's director of continuing education and conference services, about the reasoning behind the new offerings.
