(York) -- The midstate, like many parts of the country, has seen a decline in manufacturing jobs over the past few decades.

Earlier this month, Honeywell announced it's closing it's York plant that makes materials used in the gas industry.

The move could idle more than 100 workers.

As part of our MoneyWorks series, witf's Craig Layne talks with Mike Smeltzer, Executive Director of Manufacturers' Association of South Central Pennsylvania, about Honeywell and the overall health of manufacturing in the midstate.
