Live coverage: Funeral for Former PA Governor George Leader

A memorial service for Former Pennsylvania Governor George Leader is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Derry Presbyterian Church in Hershey. Burial will be at a later date.

Leader, a Democrat who served a four-term term as governor in the 1950s, fought for reforms in government and public education. After leaving office, he had a successful business career but also kept his hand in politics. He died on May 9 following a brief illness at age 95.
