Democrat Kevin Schreiber has won election to the Pennsylvania House 95th District, replacing former Rep. Eugene DePasquale of York County who was elected state auditor general.

Schreiber, a city official, was one of three York residents vying for the seat, including Republican Bryan Tate, who works for a charity and Green Party candidate William Swartz, a businessman.

Schreiber will complete his predecessor's term, which runs through November 2014.
