(Harrisburg) -- Two new federal civil rights lawsuits say two people were beaten by York County police in separate incidents that were both captured on video.

Both cases filed Thursday involve allegations against Springettsbury Township Patrolman Chad Moyer. Videos released by attorney Devon Jacob show Moyer apparently punching a handcuffed woman and kneeing a man who suffered five broken ribs.

The department, the township, and other officers are also named as defendants. Chief Thomas Hyers says he's familiar with the incidents but hasn't seen the suits, so he can't comment.

Debra Williams' lawsuit says she was punched and grabbed by the neck, and alleges Moyer and another officer filed false incident reports.

Steven Landis' complaint alleges Moyer and another officer didn't get him medical treatment despite serious injuries sustained during his arrest.
