Marie Roberts Monville's book, One Light Still Shines: My Life Beyond the Shadow of the Amish Schoolhouse Shooting, will discuss the shooting and having to explain the massacre to her children.

The book is set to be released October 1st by Zondervan.

Monville has since remarried since her husband, Charles Carl Roberts IV, took the girls hostage inside the West Nickel Mines School and fatally shot five of them before also killing himself on October 2nd, 2006.

The Amish community tore down the school days later and has rebuilt another a few hundred yards away.

I wish Marie all the best. She and her children were victims, too.
