(Harrisburg) -- A Schuylkill County high school football player has been named one of the top athletes in the state in an online poll.
Owen Daniel, a senior at Williams Valley High School in Tower City is the top wide receiver at a small school, according to the Mr. Pennsylvania Football annual awards poll through SportsRecruiters.com.
Some 86,000 people voted for the best high school players at both large and small districts across the state.
Penn State head football coach Bill O'Brien will be the keynote speaker at an awards banquet honoring the players tomorrow evening in Hershey.
