(Harrisburg) -- A man is facing charges after police say he abducted his girlfriend from HACC, prompting a lockdown at the school.
Police have charged 33-year old Julian Amway with kidnapping, simple assault, terroristic threats and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Harrisburg Area Community College was locked down after a student called police Wednesday to report seeing a man enter a classroom and force a female student from the building.
Police located the pair hours later near the Dock Street Dam and Amway was arrested.
The victim told police Amway had been jealous and didn't believe she was attending a class. After forcing her into his car, police say Amway beat the woman and she suffered minor injuries.
He was being held in Dauphin County Prison on $500,000 bail.
