Maryland mom takes action against cyberbully from the midstate

(Emmitsburg, MD) --  A Maryland woman is using Facebook to expose cyberbullying by an Adams County man who used the social media website to ridicule her 5-year-old daughter.

Sherry Myers of Emmitsburg says she started the "Justice for Jayden" page after an East Berlin firefighter posted pictures of her daughter that he shot in the waiting room of a doctor's office in nearby Gettysburg on Saturday.

Firefighter Dave Fritz also wrote messages ridiculing the girl's shoes and questioning her gender.

Fritz took down the pictures and apologized to Myers after she contacted him later that day. He says his actions were in bad taste.

Myers says she was stunned at such behavior by an authority figure that she teaches her children to respect.
