Student stabbed at Berks County middle school

(Sinking Spring) -- Police say a student has been stabbed at a middle school in Berks County and a suspect is in custody.

The stabbing was reported around 8:30 a.m. today at Wilson Southern Middle School in Spring Township. Police say one student was hurt and that the suspect fled, but was arrested a short time later.

The condition of the victim isn't known.

Police are still at the school and the incident remains under investigation.
