(Harrisburg) -- Governor Corbett has signed death warrants for three more convicted murderers on death row in Pennsylvania, which last executed someone in 1999.
Corbett's office says he signed warrants yesterday for 54-year-old Orlando Maisonet, 24-year-old Abraham Sanchez Jr. and 55-year-old Freeman May, all incarcerated at the State Correctional Institution at Greene.
Maisonet participated in the 1982 stabbing death in Philadelphia of Jorge Figueroa to prevent him from cooperating with police. Maisonet's execution is scheduled for March 6.
Sanchez shot Ray Diener in front of his Lancaster County home during a botched robbery attempt in 2007. His execution is scheduled for March 7.
May stabbed to death 22-year-old Kathy Fair in 1982. Her remains were found six years later in Lebanon County woods. May's execution is scheduled for March 5.
