Nancy Rockey had served as executive vice president at the community college.

District Attorney Ed Marsico says the alleged improper expenditures, including some on her college-issued credit card, took place between 2007 and 2012.

They included purchases for gift cards, an iPad, and other items.

A three-year audit showed Rockey had taken a total of $228,000.

She's been charged with a third-degree felony count of theft by unlawful taking.
