(York Springs) — A central Pennsylvania school superintendent says 10 students required medical treatment for injuries he describes as minor after their school bus and another vehicle collided head-on, flipping the bus onto its roof.

Bermudian Springs Superintendent Shane Hotchkiss said the seven of the middle- and high-school students were taken to hospitals from the scene of the Friday afternoon wreck on a highway in York Springs, about 15 miles north of Gettysburg.

The other three were taken for treatment after being evaluated at a meet-up location on school district property.

Reading Township Police Officer William Ceravola says the 42-year-old man driving the other vehicle was listed in serious condition at York Hospital after temporarily going into cardiac arrest and being revived by emergency medical technicians.
