Clarence Shaffer was captured in Highspire, Dauphin County, after a search that lasted a little more than a day.
Authorities say he abducted the 18-year-old woman Monday morning and drove her to East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, where he sexually assaulted her.
Shaffer, who had just served a 14-year prison sentence, faces several charges, including simple assault, indecent assault and kidnapping.
HACC closed its Harrisburg campus today shortly before noon as police searched for Shaffer.
