(Harrisburg) -- Authorities in the capital city say a man apparently involved in a shootout and nine-hour standoff with police is dead.
Around 12:30 this morning, Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico announced the death of the suspect, whom he identified as a Philadelphia man wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in connection with a murder.
How the man died was not disclosed.
The incident took place at the Hall Manor apartments where authorities say the man was firing shots.
Marsico says an officer has been wounded, but that the injuries are not life-threatening
The FBI and police special response teams were at the scene last night.
