(York) -- The York Symphony Orchestra is looking for a new conductor and music director.

The orchestra says in a release today that it will accept inquiries from potential candidates through mid-December.

A search committee will choose four finalists, and then each of them will guest conduct one concert during the
2013-2014 season as part of the final selection process.

The orchestra is celebrating its 80th anniversary this season.
